Due to its historical significance, Protech’s work involved painstaking renovation of the space to preserve the historical building which houses the high school while retrofitting it with modern equipment. Vista Murrieta’s Performing Art’s Center is a premier performing arts center in the southern most part of Riverside County. It is home to and provides the finest in arts education to more than 500 students. The flexible venue presents nearly 100 performances and events each year.

The Old Town Temecula Community Theater is a contemporary, state-of-the-art proscenium theater in the heart of Old Town. Featuring Protech’s time tested and cost effective equipment, the space exemplifies the City of Temecula’s motto “Old Traditions, New Opportunities.”

Aside from being an outstanding institution academically, Northwood high school has a very distinguished Fine Arts Program that features 8 bands, 4 orchestras, 10 chorus ensembles, several dance groups, and a theater program that presents three plays each year. Additionally, the music program has also received the prestigious Grammy award multiple times. All areas of the the fine arts program benefit from the large amount of stage space and a highly versatile rigging system, featuring 4 dedicated electrics which allow for quick transitions between shows.

Newbury high school’s performing arts department was given a boost with the construction of the new performing arts center. The performing arts center is used for many things, ranging from theatrical, choral and dance performances to school assemblies. The NPHS drama program, also known as the “Panther Players,” is known for production quality that greatly exceeds traditional high schools. Recently, productions of Aida, Damn Yankees, Bye Bye Birdie, and The Sound of Music have been put on by the Panther Players at the school’s Performing Arts Center.

Lakeside high school theater is anything but ordinary. With Protech’s state-of-the-art rigging system, along with talented teachers and students, the performing arts department flourishes by the day. Lakeside high school’s drama and production management team was voted Southern California’s best high school tech team during the California Educational Theatre Association’s (CETA) annual High School Theatre Festival, held in January 2011.

The 600-seat Joan B. Kroc Theatre hosts music, dance and theatre performances appealing to a wide range of audiences, especially families. The venue is a key component of the expansive Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center and its burgeoning Performing Arts Center. Bearing the name of the late McDonald’s heiress and philanthropist Joan B. Kroc, the theater provides acting troupes with the chance to rehearse, construct and perform a show all under the same roof. The center includes vocal and instrumental practice rooms, a visual arts studio, a dance studio, a band and orchestra room and a scenic arts workshop.

Fox California Theatre

The Fox California Theatre, fondly known as “the California” was built in 1927. It was said to be “the finest theater in California” on its opening day. After closing in 1973, near demolition, a comprehensive reconstruction began that included converting this 1,150-seat vaudeville movie theater to an opera house. With the help of Protech’s expertise, the theater re-opened in 2004 remains to be one of the best-preserved examples of late 1920’s motion picture designs left in the country.

Located in the town made famous by Johnny Cash’s song “Folsom Prison Blues,” Folsom High School was opened in 1922. Protech has since renovated the the 700-seat Jill Solberg Performing Arts Theater to include modern safety & performance equipment, making it an excellent venue for our upcoming stars to develop their craft.

Dorothy Chandler Pavilion

Dorothy Chandler Pavilion opened December 6, 1964 with Zubin Mehta conducting the Los Angeles Philharmonic with soloist Jascha Heifetz. Protech recently rennovated the house by upgrading the orchestra lift to a modern LinkLift system. As one of the largest stages in the country, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion has proven itself as an important part of Los Angeles history. Its rich décor intrigued The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and provided the perfect setting for the Academy Awards 24 times during the 20th century.

Home to one of the first (and largest) LinkLift platforms in the world, this 2,265-seat concert hall is the the permanent host of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. The hall is intended primarily for symphonic music performances; however, other types of music performances can be accommodated on the open stage platform. The grand opening in 2003 remains one of the most successful grand openings of a concert hall in American history. The complicated installation called for thousands of gallons of water to test load on the platform; Protech was specifically thanked for not spilling a single drop.

Cal Poly Performing Arts Center is a state-of-the-art facility with incomparable acoustics and rigging which promises a quality performance 100 percent of the time. A landmark of Protech’s commitment to excellence, the majestic 1,289-seat Sidney Harman Hall has hosted professional performers including, American Idol finalist Melinda Doolittle and the Philharmonic of Poland.
